In Montana, a 54 year old schoolteacher raped a girl of 14. She was so traumatized, she killed herself. Now the presiding judge, G. Todd Baugh, has sent the perpetrator to... 30 days in jail, justifying this sentence by saying that the child victim was "older than her chronological years."
There's an online petition to recall the judge. I urge everyone to sign it, circulate it, and to boycott Montana's products, hotels, vacation spots, etc- until this horrendous miscarriage is addressed rightly.
If Americans tolerate this, we can't claim any superiority to hard line Taliban Muslims, who beat widows forced to beg for money for food, and kill gay people.
